DREAMVERSE

We used to be weak back then.

Doomed to exist in fleeting dreams, we were unable to hold memories and fathom the meaning of our beings. Understanding did not come to us at once, that all those dreams were broken fragments of constellations we would eventually use to create a new world.

Through this chaos of scattered lives and momentary visions we eventually awakened to a lucid Dream. It was beautiful beyond imagination. We gained clarity of mind and could feel the power of freedom inside the beauty of countless Dreams, where we were gods, able to shape the worlds as we pleased. But we could never keep those worlds for ourselves, and the memories of ever-changing paradises faded.

We tried to bring some structure into the Dream. We began to think, to name, and our names, our path and destiny were encrypted in constellations. We gave ourselves form and developed rules inside the Dream, and so civilisations were born, and the Dream began to grow lucid.

But to establish the Order, we had to obey our own rules, which meant to sacrifice the divinity and abandon our powers, freedom inside the Dream. This was how we were reduced to mortals.

The Order we created shall never be perfect. Torn by our discordant voices and captured by fleeting nature of dreams, it won't last forever. We raised our realms anew, and then they fell again and again, and our constellations broke apart. Our Order will be forever haunted by its most dangerous impurity - Time.

Until one day we remember the way to our ancient divinity, as we uncover the hidden bonds between Dreams, written among our constellations. And then the Order will endure in every world we touch.
