Constellation: the Firebringer
The Firebringer is obsessed with hidden knowledge of the Dreams and
unraveling it to others. He is fierce in his battle for the truth and isn't
afraid of opposing stronger gods to achieve it. He claims to hate ignorance and
looks down on those who are deaf to the call of knowledge, yet in time he will
realise that he is driven not by hatred but delight of discovery and urge to
share it as the act of true love.

Era of Evolution story
Mattias is known as an ambitious scientist, notorious for his bad temper
and selfishness. Many could also say he is an unruly employee and extremely
strict, unforgiving teacher, but hardly there is anyone to know the reason of
him being so dislikable.
Ever since Mattias joined the SID he was hated by his own people, who
didn't like the idea of the space travelers exhausting the planet's resources.
Although Dr Eim promised to take natives from the dying planet, Mattias knew
that only minority could get a place on board, and precisely - members of the
SID. It was when he came up with a plan to steal precious knowledge from the
space travelers to share it with his people and increase their chances to
survive.
Dr Eim and Mattias became nemeses the moment Eim expelled him from the
SID for Mattias' crime. The doctor said he would return for people as soon as
the SID finds a planet suitable for life, but Mattias was sure he would leave
them to meet their end inside the destroyer. Mattias exposed himself to the
effect of the black hole to manage to hide people in the shelter in time, but
instead of horrible passing, for a reason unknown, Mattias was granted with
supernatural abilities as an evolver, and resolved to use them to avenge Dr Eim
and find a safe planet on his own.

Native planet
Mattias inherited the blessing of Icarus-2P (Plasmatic). This planet has
a hot core and is covered with scorching deserts. When humans first awakened
there, they had to face unbearably hot climate and hide under ground. It is
known that species who had lived on this planet before could manipulate energy
and heat objects, which determined Mattias' powers as an evolver.
